IRAW or Independent Refrigeration Airconditioning Wholesalers was the brainchild of several independent wholesalers located throughout Australia.

Spearheaded by Jamie Davidson of Coolparts Queensland ,a number of interested independant locally owned wholesalers were invited to attend a weekend of discussions to determine if there were advantages in forming a joint Buying and Marketing group.

The synergy’s were evident from the first meeting and as impetus grew so did the request for membership.

Quite clearly there was an opportunity for a group of Independent Wholesalers to provide a unified structure to enable the purchasing power previously dominated by large local and internationally owned national wholesalers.

The path was clear and made even more inviting given the value that each Independant Wholesaler brought to the table.

Experience , Knowledge ,Dedication ,Longevity ,  Contacts and Location , all of these attributes combined have now made IRAW a significant major supplier to the Refrigeration and Airconditioning Industry.

The IRAW group have now successfully negotiated trading agreements Nationally with several major suppliers who previously would not have considered individual wholesalers.

Our policy is to support local manufacture where possible however IRAW has also been active in sourcing imported products where local manufacture or supply was not available or competitive.

Our commitment is to providing quality, service and value for money to the industry.

With  a total of 16 branches ( and more to come) covering all States in Australia and numerous  experienced personnel within the group spanning 40+ years in the industry , we can offer a complete Australian Owned , Australian Operated, Efficient and Effective National Wholesale Supply Network to the Industry.
